I have worked with Jim for over a year and see that his work is truly a course in miracles! We are grateful for all that he and his organization does within the community! May his much needed work always be blessed to continue! ~Annie Miller
Your work is critical to San Diego and I am proud to know that you help so many downtown. I hope you win this contest as you clearly embody what it means to do Gods work with our hands. Blessings to Jim and Rachel and Pastor Wilk and all those who offer their gifts in this place.
TACO does amazing work, helping the homeless and economically disadvantaged here in San Diego. Thanks to all who support this important ministry. - Pr. Andy Taylor
I am impressed by the very comprehensive nature of TACO. It's great to know that the homeless and working poor can receive such a variety of assistance at TACO. Well done, First Lutheran!!!
Reaching out to homeless people, providing a menu of vital services, and doing it with love and dignity is what this video really is about, and it is obvious that TACO "gets it", when it comes to performing the work we were directed by Jesus to do. Doing all the good that this video illustrates is huge, but doing it with a full load of respect makes the real difference. Good work, TACO! Fred Wise
Looks like a wonderful ministry that is really making a difference. The video cut out at the end which was a bummer, it had me wanting more info and kept me watching. Thanks for putting me on your list--Julie
I have seen the evolution of Taco to become an exceptional life affirmning ministry and witness of faith in action. Pastor John Embree, Resurrection Lutheran, Coronado, CA
Hospice ministry among the homeless and working poor?!!! Are you kidding? TACO incarnates "Gods Work Our Hands." Thank you for all you've done, taught and inspired in San Diego.
TACO, you're amazing; the video doesn't even do justice to the enormity of your impact on the community of our homeless friends in San Diego. It is an oasis of Christ-filled humanity in the midst of urban anonymity.
Way to go TACO. You are providing a truly wonderful service to our community. You are an inspiration to all who desire to do God's good works. Thank you for your wonderful gifts.
Taco truly is a blessing from God! The mission statement holds true, there is healing for all. Sometimes we need just, to stand back and watch God at work. That can be done while being a part of the fellowship of this ministry. I have been blessed and I have been given an oppertunity to be a blessing through voluteer work with TACO.
Thanks Jim, Paul, Lisa, Gregg, Miriam, Rodney, Tonice, Pastors, board members, other volunteers and patio guests!
Peace! Damon
TACO provides so many much-needed services to the needy in San Diego. It truly is the heart of Christ in the heart of the community. Thanks to all who are a part of this ministry.

A program that really provides an oasis in the middle of San Diego for so many needy people. The fellowship and setting help so many temporarily "escape" the city and all the challenges of surviving daily.
TACO conveys in action -- love, hope, faith and comfort to these precious treasures whom God highly cherishes. He is close to the broken-hearted, thus the people who minister through TACO are close to God's heart.
This ministry is unique in providng loving one-on-one friendship and CHristian funeral and burials to homeless people who shouldn't have to die alone on the sidewalks of this third largest city in the United States. Thank you for the beautiful video. Pat Ueland
